The Story Behind Olive Madison
Founder of Olive Madison, Matthew Wyeth, has been a cabinet maker for over 15 years, with a career rooted in traditional British craftsmanship and an unwavering attention to detail. After successfully completing his apprenticeship, Matthew refined his skills working alongside some of the most prestigious cabinet makers in the South, learning time-honoured techniques while developing a deep respect for quality materials, precision joinery, and enduring design.
Over time, Matthew realised that his true passion extended beyond manufacturing exceptional furniture — he wanted to be involved from the very first sketch. Design, proportion, and how a space is experienced became just as important as how it was made. This natural progression led to the creation of Olive Madison: a studio dedicated to bespoke, handcrafted kitchens and furniture that are as thoughtfully designed as they are beautifully built.
Every Olive Madison kitchen is made to measure, carefully considered around the client’s lifestyle, space, and personal taste. Matthew is committed to crafting an experience that feels collaborative, transparent, and genuinely enjoyable — from initial design discussions through to final installation. No two kitchens are ever the same; each piece is tailored, refined, and built to last.
Supported by a highly skilled team of craftsmen and makers, Olive Madison is known for creating timeless, high-quality kitchens and furniture using the finest materials and finishes. We take pride in transforming individual ideas into tangible, functional spaces — combining traditional techniques with contemporary design to deliver kitchens that feel both distinctive and enduring.
At its heart, Olive Madison is about thoughtful design, honest craftsmanship, and creating pieces that will be lived with and loved for years to come.
